Lapsinmuiza - Pool house for family

The story of our guest house began on November 10, 1885, when construction first started on the Dzedri School. The building has weathered many chapters of history; during the First World War, it was partially dismantled by German troops to build a platform for planes at nearby Lake Engure. However, the school's spirit remained, and after a dedicated renovation, classes resumed in 1927.

For decades, these walls were filled with the sounds of learning until the final classes were held in 2005. While the building was later reimagined as a guest house and given its current name, "Lapsiņmuiža," it remained quiet for many years. That changed in 2026, when the current owners fell in love with this wonderful place, purchasing and renovating it to bring it back to life. Today, we are proud to open our doors and share this historic sanctuary with you.
